As a hotelkeeper you are the first point of contact for our flexworkers, who live at our hotel. You are responsible for receiving and register (new) guests and make sure that they are aware of (and follow) the (house)rules. The hotelkeeper is also responsible for keeping the hotel, the rooms and the surroundings in a neat, clean and safe state.

Job Summary

  • Receive, check in & check out (new) residents

  • Give and register the issuance of keys and tags

  • Register visitors

  • Keep the night-register up-to-date on a daily basis

  • Check the rooms (minimum once a week and when guests are checking out) on safety, hygiene, broken things and missing inventory

  • Keep good contact with the neighbours/neighbourhood/local residents

  • Help and guide residents when there’s an emergency and intervene when there are conflicts between guests and/or local residents

  • Know how to operate the firepanel and how to proces the logfile

  • Check the camera’s and react when needed

  • Organise the welcome of new flexworkers, also in the weekend (on rotation schedule)

  • Organise (small) evacuation drills

  • Take care of small repairings, like changing lights or replace battery’s

  • Report damages and technical problems to NL Jobs Realty (Real Estate)

Requirements

  • Has minimum MBO-level (secondary education), working and thinking

  • Has (preferable) minimum 1 year of experience in a similar function

  • Has driving license B

  • Speaks one or more East-European languages (like Polish, Romanian, Russian)

  • Speaks and writes also Dutch and/or English

  • Owns certificates for Fire Alarm and First Aid (for company’s) or is willing to graduate

  • Is a good communicator, and social

  • Is flexible

  • Is stress resistant

  • Solves problems easily

  • Is service-minded
