My Story in the Netherlands

 My name is Paweł Maciołek, and I come from Poland, from the beautiful region of Podkarpacie. I am 32 years old, and my adventure in the Netherlands began in 2016 when I heard about the agency NL Jobs from friends who had previously worked with them. I decided to try my luck abroad to earn some extra money and make changes in my life. Although it was supposed to be temporary, it has already been 9 years, and I am still here, enjoying my decision. The Netherlands has captivated me with its lifestyle. People are open and friendly, and the extensive bike paths make every day commuting a pleasure. Moreover, everything can be arranged simply, which is undoubtedly a significant advantage. I can definitely say that NL Jobs stands out among other agencies. Since I started working with them, I have never had any issues with commuting to work, which the agency organizes by providing cars and fuel. Additionally, I receive compensation for being a driver, and my payments are always on time. Our coordinators are extremely helpful and always try to support us in any situation. The company also offers opportunities for professional development and participation in language courses, which is very important to me.After work, I enjoy spending time with friends. In winter, we usually play games or watch movies, while in summer, I like to go fishing, camping, or to the beach. My goal is to save as much money as possible to buy or build my own house – this is currently my main focus. I have many passions – I like motorcycles, mechanics, computer games, and collecting old musical equipment. Currently, I work in a greenhouse, where I am involved in plant care and protection. In my job, I sometimes cut tomatoes and leaves, ensure the plants are in good condition, and manage the logistics of transporting tomato trains to the warehouse and monitoring these shipments. The Netherlands has a lot to offer. The region where I live is characterized by its proximity to the sea and bays, tranquility, and peace. The opportunity to explore many attractive places nearby and easy access to other countries make living here truly satisfying. I am glad I made this decision and look forward to the future!
