About Looye Kwekers

Looye Kwekers is not just any greenhouse. It is a place where passion meets the highest quality, resulting in the legendary Honey tomatoes (Honingtomaten). We are currently looking for a Production Leader to support our production standards in Burgerveen.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You are responsible for the labor process at one of our greenhouses in Burgerveen. You are the first point of contact for our temporary production workers. You create the work schedule and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently. You also coach our employees on the correct way of working.

You work closely with your fellow team leader, the employment agency contact person, and the cultivation specialist. You report directly to the Manager of Operations & Technical Department.

In addition, you will:

• Receive a gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €4,600, depending on your knowledge and experience.

• Have your growth and development prioritized, including a personal training budget.

• Get to know our company and your colleagues through an extensive introduction and onboarding process.

• Receive a full travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer. Your bicycle rides are also reimbursed.

• Benefit from a favorable employment conditions package under the Greenhouse Horticulture collective labor agreement (CAO Glastuinbouw). This includes a good pension scheme, 8.33% holiday allowance, and 25.5 vacation days per year.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

You enjoy leading a team. You are flexible and good at prioritizing. You like variety, because no two days are the same.

Furthermore, you have:

• MBO+ (vocational+) working and thinking level and 2 years of leadership experience.

• Experience in the horticulture industry (greenhouse experience and familiar with the work process, knowledge of all main tasks)

• The ability to work well with different cultures.

• A good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Polish or Romanian is a big plus. 

• Proficiency in Excel.
