We are currently looking for an Assistant Team Leader to support our production standards in Burgerveen.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Team Leader, you will be the "right hand" of the manager and a key link on the production floor:

• Process Management: You will support the team in daily work organization, ensuring all processes run smoothly.

• Progress Monitoring: Your task will be to monitor results, identify deviations from the norm, and make immediate adjustments.

• Motivation & Feedback: You will address employees regarding quality and behavior, providing constructive feedback and encouraging improvement.

Requirements

Needed:

• Greenhouse Experience: You have extensive experience in horticulture and are familiar with all main tasks: leaf cutting, harvesting, pruning, bagging, and pinching/turning.
• Leadership Potential: You are ready to support the team, monitor work progress, and ensure a positive atmosphere.
• Digital Skills: You are comfortable using Microsoft Office and can quickly learn new computer systems.
• You want to work abroad for a longer period (minimum 26 weeks, ideally long term).
• Flexibility: You are willing to cover for colleagues in Naaldwijk a few times a year.
• Soft Skills: You have strong communication skills and are a confident individual.

No need:

• Specific Education: No formal academic degree is required; your practical greenhouse experience and "can do" attitude are what count most.
• Dutch Language: Knowledge of Dutch is a plus, but it is not a requirement to start.
• Housing: Having your own housing in the Netherlands is not necessary – we can provide it for you.
• Transport: You do not need your own transport; we provide commuting solutions (though having your own car is a plus).

Conditions

Payment                         €17.42 - €22.70 gross/hour 
Working hours              40 to 45 hours per week
Working days                Monday to Friday (*during peak season, Saturdays are also working days).
Accommodation           € 148 per week
Health insurance           € 39.96 per week
