Tetiana's Journey to the Netherlands

Since 2017, I’ve been working abroad. When the war broke out in Ukraine, staying there became dangerous, so I decided to come to the Netherlands to work and find some peace.

This is actually my second time here, and I’ve grown fond of this country. On the very first day of this visit, my daughter and I went for a walk in the city center — it was a lovely way to settle in.

I haven’t faced any real difficulties. Everything has gone smoothly so far.

We were accommodated in Jupiter, and I must say, the living conditions are excellent. I’m happy with everything — the work suits me well, and the team is incredibly friendly.

What pleasantly surprised me was that everything we had written about and asked beforehand turned out to be true. That kind of honesty is rare and very appreciated.

Yes, I found exactly what I was looking for.

On my days off, I love exploring new towns — I enjoy traveling. And like many Ukrainians these days, I have a daily ritual: calling my loved ones back home or catching up on the news.

I really like the accommodation. Everything I need is right there in my room.

There aren’t any major challenges. You just need to do your job well, quickly, and know how to get along with people.

Of course, I’ll recommend NL Jobs to others who are looking for good work.

I’d love to continue working here — maybe even for more than a year. I truly enjoy being here.

One of my favorite things is the hotel’s location. There’s a lake nearby where you can fish, swim, and relax. There’s even a grill right outside the hotel, which makes it easy to spend quality time with friends. And I especially want to highlight the atmosphere in the hotel — the reception staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help with any question.
